It’s an exciting week at Ninewells, we have our second piece of public art being installed. The aptly named ‘Cluster’ by Laura Ellen Bacon, this stunning piece will sit either side of a public footpath located in front of our current phase of apartments Linton House.
Laura describes ‘Cluster’ as ‘Inspired by both the hard cut and gentle fold of hedge laying (a traditional and ancient craft to make field boundaries)… Cluster is designed to feel part of the landscape in its silhouette and flowing, ‘windswept’ texture. In its detail Cluster reveals the mark of the maker’s hand; simple fixing details that reveal the hand-built construction. It is created from steam-bent, British Oak and was uniquely crafted for Ninewells, placed within nature, shaped by hand.’ Click here to discover more about Laura and her work.
With unique views like this, it’s not surprising that Linton house, which comprises of just 12 two bedroom apartments and duplexes priced from £399,950, is already 50% sold.
